RugMark International e.V. (RMI) is an international non- governmental organization working to end illegal child labor in the handmade rug industry and offer educational opportunities to children in South Asia. The GoodWeave certification label is issued to rug manufacturers that adhere to the GoodWeave standard, agree to its independent verification and voluntarily join as licensees.
RugMark ist eine globale, nicht-kommerzielle Organisation, die sich für die Abschaffung ausbeuterischer Kinderarbeit in der Teppichindustrie in Südasien einsetzt. Seit Gründung der Initiative im Jahr 1995 konnten mehr als 3200 Kinder von der Arbeit an den Webstühlen befreit werden.
